MEET THE MAKER

The Story Behind Rustic Raven

What started with a love for creating has grown into a small business built around freshie making, original designs, and a community of makers who love creating something uniquely their own.

BEHIND RUSTIC RAVEN

Hi, I’m Kristin.

Born and raised in Northern California, I’ve always been a creator at heart. Crafting has been a lifelong passion of mine, and over the past few years, that creativity found its way into the world of freshie making.

I started by making freshies myself and eventually began designing and pouring my own freshie molds. What began as another creative outlet grew into Rustic Raven and into the products and community you see here today.

BETTER TOGETHER

Made With a Little Help From My Favorite Teammate

Rustic Raven may have started with my love of creating, but I don’t do it all alone. My husband has become a big part of this journey, helping me design and build many of the products you see in the shop.

We make a pretty great team, and I’m incredibly grateful that I get to build this business and create new things alongside him.

MORE THAN A NAME

Why Rustic Raven?

Rustic Raven is more than the name of my business. It holds a very special place in my heart.

The name is in honor of my dad, whom I lost when I was a child. Building and creating under the Rustic Raven name gives me a way to keep his memory close while doing something I truly love.

What began as something deeply personal has grown into a place where I get to share my creativity with other makers—and that makes this business mean even more to me.

Your Creative Home for Freshie Making

  • MADE FOR MAKERS

Rustic Raven is a place for makers to find original freshie molds, creative supplies, tools, and inspiration for bringing their ideas to life.

As someone who makes freshies, I know how much the little details matter. That maker perspective is behind what we design, what we offer, and the community we’re building.

Whether you’re making your very first freshie or you’ve created more than you can count, I hope Rustic Raven gives you something that sparks your next idea.

Every order, share, project, and kind word means more to me than you know. When you support Rustic Raven, you’re supporting a small business, a family, and a dream that has grown from something I genuinely love doing.

Thank you for allowing me to create for you. I hope you enjoy what you find here just as much as I enjoy creating it.
